Solutions for Non-removal Formwork Mesh in Construction

HomeProducts Non-removal Formwork Mesh

The non-removal formwork mesh is composed of continuous raised V-shaped mesh ribs integrated with a steel mesh surface. Featuring a uniform perforated structure, the protruding tooth plates on the perforations enhance the bond strength between the steel mesh and concrete. The mechanical keys formed by the interlocking mesh apertures improve adhesion and shear resistance at the interface between new and existing concrete, eliminating the formwork removal procedure and ensuring performance under extreme climatic conditions. No nails or timber are required during application, reducing the number of supports and meeting environmental protection standards.

Characteristics:

  • Non-removability: Upon concrete casting, the mesh interlocks to form mechanical keys, obviating the need for removal and functioning directly as part of the structural system, thereby saving on formwork removal procedures and labor costs.
  • Construction Visibility: The mesh structure enables direct inspection of the concrete pouring process, minimizing defects such as voids and honeycombing.
  • High Adaptability: Can be freely cut and bent to accommodate formwork requirements for curved and irregular shapes; Reinforcement bars smaller than 12mm can pass directly through the mesh openings, while larger diameter bars can be fixed after cutting and repositioning the mesh.
  • Permanentity: The non-removal formwork mesh is integrated with the concrete permanent formwork, and after concrete placement, the angular interlock within the mesh openings automatically embeds. Removal is unnecessary; only the support frames are dismantled, saving time and labor, thereby accelerating Construction Progress.
  • Unique Design: Able to retain poured concrete, facilitating inspection during the concrete placement process, thereby reducing the risk of voids, honeycombing, and sand holes.

Specifications:

  • Mesh Width: 50–90 cm, Rib Height: 7 mm, customizable
  • Mesh Length: 3 meters, customizable
  • Galvanized Sheet Thickness: 0.4–1.5 mm, customizable
Tape measure used to measure the width of non-removal formwork mesh
Caliper measurement of rib height on non-removal formwork mesh
Micrometer measuring the plate thickness of non-removal formwork mesh

Applications:

  • Residential and industrial construction: Light partition walls for low- and high-rise residences, fire barriers, mezzanine floor slabs, interior and exterior factory walls, and damp-proof composite walls in basements.
  • Municipal and transportation engineering: Tunnels, sewers, post-cast joints in bridges, retaining walls, dry docks, and similar structures.
  • Special engineering structures: Nuclear power plants, storage tanks, and other curved structural forms; landscape sculptures; slope protection earth embankments; and other irregular or outdoor projects.
  • Hydraulic and port engineering: Applied in concrete supports for docks, wharf quay walls, and reservoirs.
  • Concrete grade isolation: Separation of beam-column nodes and areas with differing concrete grades to prevent slurry mixing that could compromise structural integrity.
